About Sipahijala Wildlife Sanctuary
Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary is one of Tripura’s most celebrated eco-tourism destinations, offering a perfect blend of wildlife, nature, and recreation. Spread across approximately 18.53 square kilometres, the sanctuary is home to a rich variety of flora and fauna, including over 150 species of resident and migratory birds, rare primates, reptiles, butterflies, and diverse plant species. It is particularly renowned for the Clouded Leopard National Park, one of the few places in India where visitors can observe the elusive clouded leopard.
